MATZEN Diamond Entrance Mat — Indoor/Outdoor, Water-Absorbent, Non-Slip

I got this for the threshold of a workshop area that's a frequent source of metal shavings and shop junk that would otherwise get tracked into the house. The pile is much thicker and coarser than your garden variety entry mat, and it's very well suited for clearing garage / workshop dust from deep treaded shoes.The only con is that if your shoes are very wet, the coarser pile can create a minor skating effect and doesn't wick away water quite as easily as mats with finer pile. That being said it's far more durable and hangs on to crud really well. It cleans up nicely after hitting it with a vacuum cleaner and still looks like new after a couple weeks of mixed use. Overall better at removing normal dust and debris than any other mat I own.

This door mat is definitely heavy duty and very sturdy. The thick rubber backing keeps it firmly in place, and it truly is non‑slip. The textured top does an excellent job trapping dirt, grass, and debris, which has noticeably helped keep my indoor floors cleaner by stopping dirt right at the door.The fibers are so good at grabbing dirt that they also hold onto things like grass and dog hair a little too well. Shaking it out isn’t very effective because everything gets deeply caught in the fibers. It still works great, but it takes a bit more effort to clean, which I'd rather deal with over having to clean my inside floors all the time.The size is perfect and covers the full width of my door threshold. I have it placed at the door leading into the garage, and it’s been doing its job really well. For the size, thickness, and overall quality, the price is excellent.

This is a nicely sized heavy duty doormat at just under 3‘ x 2‘. The brown is a nice medium brown with black rubber edges. It features a crisscross diamond pattern, which I think will help to get dirt off your shoes when you enter or exit your house. There is a nice thick rubber layer underneath to keep it from sliding around on the floor or cement entry way. The online specs say that this is a commercial grade mat that can withstand heavy daily wear is resistant to deformation and fading and can be swept, vacuumed or rinsed with water for deeper cleaning. It also says that it is quick drying and has waterproof construction so that it can withstand all weather conditions. This is a nicely made mat and I think it will hold up overtime. I believe the pile height is about an eighth of an inch tall. The raised portion of the pile is loops and I think this design will help catch dirt from your shoes. I have very sandy soil where I live and really need something to help get all that loose sand and dust off the bottom of our shoes before coming into the house and I think this will fit the bill. I think this is reasonably priced for a heavy duty mat that should hold up over time.

Used this on front porch. Definitely not waterproof. Took weeks for it to lay flat.

I really like this door mat. It is the second one I ordered over the past couple of years. Looks good, isn't huge and cleans well. As can be expected, if it is exposed to the sun, it will fade. All color dormats would.

Great entry rug, nice color, texture, and stays firmly in place. We ordered a larger size which works well and looks welcoming.

Just got two of these yesterday and already have compliments on them. Black to go with the black highlights on my house.

Got this in red to match my entry and I generally like the color coordination it brought to the porch. Functionally it is way more effective than my previous door mat which was a more typical welcome mat style. This one doesn't slide around like the previous mat and the low pile of this one doesn't seem to shed either. The last mat was pretty bald and ragged by the time I tossed it and I feel like this one seems like it'll hold together a lot longer. I also like that this mat seems to drain well and keep water from pooling in and around it. All in all, I great outdoor mat.
