- Dirt and Moisture Capture for All Season Use: MATZEN doormat is designed for all season and all weather conditions, featuring a patterned groove structure that works effectively as a catcher for sand, debris, and dust from bare feet, shoes, sandals, and boot soles. The beveled border design creates a retention dam that helps trap everything, including muddy and wet footprints from pets.
- Non-Slip Natural Rubber Backing Support: The MATZEN outdoor mat uses a heavy duty non-slip natural rubber backing. Natural rubber offers higher tensile strength, improved tear resistance, and reduced odor compared to synthetic rubber. This durable backing enhances grip, helping prevent slipping when entering or exiting while protecting your floor.
- Stain Weather and Fade Resistant Surface: Built to handle various environments, the MATZEN outdoor doormat performs reliably in snow, rain, mud, and sand. The topside is designed to be stain, weather, and fade resistant, supporting long-term indoor and outdoor use. Its sturdy polyester surface with water-resistant properties helps capture rain, snow, and dirt efficiently.
- Easy to Clean and Maintain: Cleaning the MATZEN outdoor mat is simple—use a vacuum cleaner, sweep with a broom, or shake the backing to remove dirt. For more thorough cleaning, rinse with a garden hose and allow it to air dry in a ventilated space. This flexible cleaning approach keeps the mat consistently clean and ready for use.
- Sturdy and Versatile Indoor Outdoor Use: Made from high-quality polyester combined with a natural rubber non-slip backing, the MATZEN doormat offers a sturdy, strong, and flexible structure with extended durability. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use across areas such as front doors, side doors, walkways, entrances, halls, garages, patios, barns, and other high-traffic spaces.

Questions
Will it lie flat?
Mats ship rolled to keep shipping fast. Unroll it as soon as it arrives, lay it flat, and if any edge curls, roll it the opposite way for a few hours or set something flat on the corners. Most mats settle within a day or two; a warm room or a sunny spot speeds it up.
Will it slide on my floor?
The non-slip backing grips clean, dry hard floors such as concrete, tile and wood. Any mat can shift on wet, dusty or very smooth surfaces, so sweep the spot first and use rug tape on slick tile if you want extra hold.
How do I clean it?
Vacuum, sweep or shake it out. For a deeper clean, rinse with a garden hose and air dry in a ventilated space.
What size should I order?
Measure the width of your door opening and pick a mat about as wide as the door (or a little wider). The size in each option name is the nominal size, and the exact measured size can differ slightly. If you are between sizes, go larger.

Love it. Using it happily.
If you have large dogs and live somewhere that experiences "mud season", you need this. If those same large dogs sleep in your bed and track mud clods between their pads the size of golf balls, this is a requirement for a happy life. This attractive rug seems very solidly-made, and the edges are plastic, which means you can vacuum it aggressively when it gets dirty, without fraying. The texture on the bottom grips the floor better than similar rugs. Have you bought it yet? If not, enjoy those crunchy blankets.
We got it for the bathroom entrance in our office. The pattern is pretty and the size is just right.
When they say this is heavy duty, they mean heavy duty. And it's huge. It covers almost the entire entryway of my split-level home. It stays held in place really well. I do feel that $60 is a little expensive for a doormat, but that's also completely subjective. And it is pretty decent quality. This could be great inside or outside your home, and it really feels like it's going to hold up for a long time. It's nice and durable.
